Private random password generator
Generate a random password in your browser using the Web Crypto random-number generator. Nothing is uploaded or saved.
Generate a new password and store it in your password manager.
Passwords are generated locally with Web Crypto randomness. They are never added to a share link, uploaded or saved by DigitalMaple. Copying places the password in your device’s clipboard.
Randomness with a clear source.
This generator draws random values from crypto.getRandomValues(), the browser’s cryptographic random-number interface. It rejects values that would bias character selection rather than using the ordinary Math.random() function.
The character pool combines your selected groups. A generated password must contain at least one character from every selected group. If it does not, the tool draws a fresh candidate. The optional exclusion removes five easily confused characters. The output is displayed only in this page and disappears when you reload it.
Use the generator as part of a better account routine.
Use a different password for each account and save it in a reputable password manager. Follow the service’s actual length and character limits. For an account that offers a suitable passkey or multi-factor authentication, consider those protections too. This tool does not know a service’s policy, change your password, check breach databases or rate your account’s security.
A password shown on a screen or copied to a clipboard can be seen by other software with access to that screen or clipboard. Prefer your password manager’s built-in generator for important accounts. Do not paste passwords into email, notes you share, or the contact form. We deliberately omit save, history and sharing features from this tool.

A few useful answers
Does DigitalMaple keep a copy?
The generator does not send or persist the password. It exists in the page and, if you choose Copy, in your device’s clipboard. Browser extensions or other software on your device are outside this tool’s control.
Does this change my account password?
No. It only creates text. Update an account through that service’s own secure password-change flow.
Will every service accept the generated value?
No. Services can have different length and symbol rules. Adjust the settings to match the service, and use a password manager to save the result.
